Finally got away from Guaymas and headed for La Paz. Seas were very rough when we first left, short, choppy, square waves. The captain decided instead of fighting the waves, we would go with them, so we altered course and headed towards Topolobombo. Much more comfortable, and by afternoon, winds had shifted and we were able to get back on course towards La Paz. In fact, we had our best sailing ever, 18 hours, no motor, just reefed main and big jib. ...

Horacio, the yard supervisor, says he should have space in the work yard on Tuesday or Wednesday, so we will get hauled out here, change the cutlass bearing, seals, and anything else we can think of, whether it needs it or not. We had brought new fuel injectors down with us as we had not been able to get new ones back in March....
