That is Hurricane Rick, It turned inland near Mazatlan, about 400 miles south of Guaymas. So we decided to put PSS into the water and get over to Guaymas

Splash down at 10 AM, to the fuel dock, then headed out of the bay.
The good news is the engine mounts are working well, however nuts still coming loose.
The bad news is, the new and improved alternator only worked for about 1 1/2 hrs then gave up.

Problems aside, we made good time into Guaymas, about 15 miles from San Carlos. Not much wind, but lots of swells, but we were still able to average 7 kns because we can now run the engine at the recommended 1800rpm without major vibration.
However, now we have discovered that we should have changed the cutlass bearing, now it’s making a racket. May have to get hauled out here in Guaymas … in which case, we may leave it on the hard here for a week or so and go to Copper Canyon.
