
Butterflies at Calgary Zoo
I think Evelynn’s favourite part of the Zoo today was the Mariposa. We could have stayed all day to watch the “flys”.
Canada Day, July 1st, we celebrated Owen’s 8th birthday. You know he’s growing up when he invited all girls to his party.
Next we were off on a camping trip to Drumheller, where we were joined by Darlene & Bob and family and we celebrated a belated birthday for Don.
Bob lead everyone up into the hills on a dinosaur bone hunt.
I however was more intrigued by the cacti. These prickly pear cactus are considerably smaller than the ones we have become accustomed to seeing on the Baja.
Another zoo trip followed, this time with Owen & Evan.
It wasn’t just Evelynn who could have spent hours in the Mariposa. Owen found a few friend too …
