Queen Mary, Long Beach, California
Aquarium of the Pacific – one of Long Beach’s most popular attractions with more than 12,500 animals.
The Queen Mary – Long Beach is home to one of the world’s most luxurious ships to sail the Atlantic Ocean. Visit this historic ocean liner and now a hotel. Its last voyage was 1967. It is docked close to Carnival pier.
Long Beach also offers whale watching and harbor cruises, areas with shops and restaurants and of course the beach. Shopping and dining has improved in the area close to the pier in the past 6 or 7 years, with the addition of new shopping and entertainment areas. You can also enjoy a relaxing gondola cruise around the canals of Naples in the city of Long Beach. All of Southern California attractions are within a couple of hours drive: Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knott’s Berry Farm, Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Legoland California, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Sea World San Diego, San Diego Zoo and the many fabulous golf courses and beaches.
