Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands
The next morning we were docked in Road Town, Tortola, the capital of the British Virgin Islands.
There were several shore excursions including snorkeling, beach tours, swimming with dolphins, island tours, 4 X 4 safaris, boat tours, etc.
We chose a boat/bus combination, which was great as we got to get closer to some of the smaller islands that we really wanted to see.
With thirty of us together, we could all pick the excursions or activities we wanted to do and just meet back at the ship for dinner later on.
We had ages from 2-80 along so our interests varied, that is what makes cruising an awesome choice for reunions/weddings etc.

Cane Garden Bay, British Virgin Islands
Road Town has limited shopping compared to St. Maarten. The north part of the island has white sandy beaches and beautiful mountain peaks can be found the on the southern end of the island.
I just wish we had more time to go to some of the beaches we saw on our trip like Cane Garden Bay or head over to Virgin Gorda and the Baths.
There are powdery white sand beaches and lush green mountains. Lots of winding roads with great views.
We need to go back!
